About us
Racing Knights was established in 2020 by Philip Wood and a group of horse racing enthusiasts.
We are a small, yet friendly syndicate who pride themselves on honest, open and frequent communication with our owners and providing excellent value for money in relation to what we charge for training fees.
Then there's the experience of meeting the trainer and the jockey before the race, the thrill of watching your horse run and then hopefully champagne at the winners reception.
Tickets are allocted to all shareholders for all UK meetings except for the following Premier meetings where an additional charge may be required:
Premier Meetings include:
Ascot
Chester
Newmarket
Saturday Meetings including The Ebor at York
Cheltenham Festival
And any meetings outside the British Isles

It all started with being involved and being successful with greyhounds, breeding, training and racing them. So time to give the horse's a go hopefully with just as much success. I've always had an interest in horse racing, enjoying some great moments with small shares in various horses in different syndicates. It was from this that I decided to form a small, friendly syndicate, hopefully to enjoy a few winners and some great days out. We would love you to join us in the chase for lots of fun and maybe a winner, all with good company. Hope I see you at the races, stay safe and be lucky.
Cheers Phil

Terry & Janet Gill

Both Janet and I just love a day out at the races. It all started with a trip to Royal Ascot about 10 years ago and the rest, as they say, is history. I'd met Phil through coaching at football and with my son Josh playing football and having an interest in horses it seemed a good idea to get involved and enjoy some family days out. I must say, the thrill and excitement (and worry at times) of watching your horses run is second to none. The Racing Knights syndicate is one that we are delighted to be associated with. We are a small, but friendly group of racing enthusiasts. We are regularly updated on the progress of our horses from trainers Ben Haslam, Tim Easterby, Nigel Tinker and Sara Ender, which we pass onto to our shareholders so that they are always kept in the picture. So why not join us and experience the thrill and excitement of horse ownership.
Paul Young

My first taste of racing was at Beverley when I was 10 years old. From that day I was hooked, the colours, noise, hearing and seeing the horses gallop past me has stuck with me to this day. Since then I have always enjoyed a a day at the races and the dream of owning a racehorse grew inside me. Well now I'm living my dream with the Racing Knights. We formed Racing Knights to share our love of racing and to enjoy it with family and friends. Our first horse ran at Newcastle and won its first race. I can't describe the feeling, from going in the paddock, meeting the trainer and jockey and then the worry and anticipation of the run! We were screaming when he past the post. Then we were in the winners enclosure and the champagne room to celebrate. Why not experience the cost effective way of ownership and join the Racing Knights. Paul
Chris & Dotty Cleevely

We had known each other for around 20 years through mutual friends but only got together when Dotty graciously accepted my invitation to come and watch one of my horses, New Expo, run at Great Yarmouth in 2019. Some of the horses are trained by Julia Feilden in Exning, Newmarket. Racing is our passion and with interests in 10 horses we love all aspects of the sport, from visiting the stables, going to the different courses and meeting like minded enthusiasts. Through our shares in Fortamour we met Phil at a race meeting and soon became good friends with the Racing Knights syndicate. We have had some fun days out with them and we didn't need much persuading to buy the remaining half of Sweetest Company and a quarter of Do I Dream to strengthen the partnership and the "stable" . Having moved to Middleham we can walk to Ben's yard and check on the horses, their training and of course giving them treats of polos, carrots and apples. Best of all is the amazing buzz when your horse is challenging for the lead, cheering them on to victory, whether you own 100% or 1% , honestly nothing like it!!
